Job Description & Duties Under the direction of an Accounting Administrator, the Associate Accounting Analyst monitors and performs accounting functions such as payments, adjustments, reconciliations, and reports related to the department’s utility payments. The incumbent is responsible for independent performance of the more complex analytical and accounting duties.
Minimum Requirements
Possession of a valid driver’s license is required when operating a State owned or leased vehicle.
Unofficial transcripts required.
Cover letter & resume required.
Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) required.
Desirable Qualifications
Excellent in Microsoft Excel with experience applying functions and formulas.
Ability to learn and use Microsoft Access database.
Experience in Accounts Payable reconciliation.
Ability to plan, organize, take initiative, and establish work priorities.
Detail oriented, focused on accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to research and analyze data, draw sound conclusions, and adopt an effective course of action.
Willingness to learn and perform detailed work independently and communicate effectively in both writing and orally.
Ability to prepare clear, comprehensive, and concise reports.
