We’re seeking a Safety Manager to join a leading mechanical contractor supporting major commercial and industrial projects in the Fargo, ND area. What You’ll be Doing
Oversee and enforce all safety programs, site-specific health plans, and compliance protocols for large-scale mechanical projects.
Conduct site inspections, safety audits, and incident investigations to maintain a zero-incident environment.
Lead new-hire orientations, training sessions, and toolbox talks to strengthen safety awareness.
Serve as a trusted advisor and coach to project teams, ensuring alignment with company safety standards and regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with leadership to develop, update, and execute proactive safety policies and best practices.
Manage safety documentation, reporting, and insurance claim follow-ups as needed.
Who We’re Looking For
5-10 years of experience managing safety programs in mechanical construction, HVAC, or industrial environments.
In-depth knowledge of OSHA and state/federal safety regulations.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
Certifications preferred: BCSP (CHST®, SMP®, or CSP®), OSHA 30 (or ability to obtain within 30 days).
A hands‑on, proactive professional who leads by example and inspires safe work practices across teams.
