Position Summary
Drive sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, and inventory levels. Budget and forecast sales and assess economic trends and community needs. What You’ll Do
Provide direction and guidance to associates on proper customer/member service approaches and techniques. Oversee the implementation of community outreach programs and encourage associates to serve as good members of the community. Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations for the Vision Center by analyzing and interpreting reports and monitoring asset protection and safety controls. Develop and implement action plans to improve performance and provide direction and guidance on executing company programs and strategic initiatives. Supervise, develop opportunities for associates, hire, train, and mentor, assign duties, provide recognition, and promote a belonging mindset. Consult with members to select products based on needs, obtain measurements, verify prescriptions, maintain confidentiality, perform minor frame repair, and maintain optical equipment. Minimum Qualifications
2+ years of college OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience OR 2 years’ general work experience including 1 year’s optical experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and/or rules. Preferred Qualifications
Supervising associate experience. Pay and Benefits
Hourly wage range: $30.00–$40.00. Additional compensation: annual or quarterly performance bonuses, Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) based on location.
