Job Summary

We are hiring immediately for on‑call JANITOR positions in Medtronic – 8200 Coral Sea Street, Mounds View, Minnesota 55112. Location: Medtronic; Online applications accepted only. Schedule: On‑call; Monday through Friday, hours may vary. Requirement: Prior cleaning experience is preferred; Willing to train. Fixed Pay Rate: $20.65 per hour.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dust and mop floors following approved procedures.
• Move equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and return furniture to correct placement.
• Clean assigned areas using assigned materials and equipment; sanitize all surfaces; follow the eight‑step cleaning procedure.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors and staff.
• Seek out areas requiring cleaning; take initiative to complete the task.
• Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines.
• Strip, scrub, buff and refine floors; shampoo carpet.
• Contribute to the team; exhibit professionalism with customers, fellow employees and others.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
