StevenDouglas has been retained to identify an Accounting Manager for an established and growing $140M private equity owned manufacturing company.

This role is ideal for an accounting professional with manufacturing industry experience who wants an opportunity to fast-track their career growth.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timeliness and accuracy of financial reporting
• Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and intercompany transactions
• Partner with operations and supply chain teams to monitor variances, yields, scrap, and absorption rates
• Lead annual cost roll processes and ensure accurate product costing and margin analysis
• Collaborate with plant finance teams, operations managers, and supply chain leaders to provide financial insight that supports business decisions
• Drive efficiency in close processes through automation, standardization, and optimization of workflows

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred)
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in manufacturing or consumer industrial sectors
• Knowledge of standard costing, inventory accounting, and cost analysis
• Proficiency and comfort using ERP systems
