LHH is seeking a versatile and experienced Floater Legal Secretary to provide support across multiple practice areas. This full‑time role is ideal for a legal professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys working collaboratively with a team of senior attorneys and staff. This position reports directly to the HR department and offers the opportunity for future growth within the firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Outlook calendars, scheduling, and attorney coordination
- Answer and direct incoming calls professionally and efficiently
- Provide legal administrative support across various practice areas including: Business Litigation, Family Law, Real Estate & Property Tax, Trusts & Estates
- Step in for secretaries who are out of the office
- Assist HR and the Controller with administrative projects during slower periods
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of legal secretarial experience at a law firm
- Some litigation experience required (Commercial Litigation strongly preferred)
- Strong organizational, communication, and technical skills
- Comfortable working with senior‑level attorneys and seasoned staff
- Professional demeanor with the ability to multi‑task and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment
- Basic HR administrative experience is a plus
- 128 hours of PTO annually
