Overview We’re seeking a proactive and strategic Human Resources Manager to oversee all aspects of HR operations and employee engagement for a dynamic organization in the Sacramento area. This role is ideal for a confident HR leader who enjoys being hands-on, mentoring others, and creating a positive and compliant workplace culture. The HR Manager will serve as a trusted partner to leadership, supporting initiatives across employee relations, performance management, benefits, compliance, and talent development. Key Responsibilities Act as the primary HR contact for all employees and leadership teams Manage employee relations, investigations, and coaching with professionalism and fairness Oversee onboarding, offboarding, and performance improvement plans Advise on leave management, compliance, and HR policy interpretation Partner with leadership to develop retention, engagement, and recognition strategies Monitor and analyze HR trends to provide recommendations for continuous improvement Lead and mentor HR support staff or generalists Ideal Candidate Profile 6+ years of progressive HR experience, including employee relations and compliance Strong working knowledge of California employment law and best practices Experience supporting leaders in manufacturing, logistics, or professional services industries Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on HR execution Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (PHR/SPHR a plus) Bilingual Spanish skills a plus, but not required Compensation and Benefits Base pay range: $110,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr Bonus: Annual discretionary bonus Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, 401(k) with employer match, PTO, and professional development support Equal Opportunity Statement This employer is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
