General Manager Responsibilities
Oversee staff training on service points, beverage appreciation, and overall mise en place Manage floor operations, including table service, food running, staff oversight, and door monitoring Open and close the restaurant, prepare and reconcile closing banks, conduct pre‑shifts, write daily recaps, and walk through the final restaurant Manage all employees, including training, coaching, supporting, and disciplining Participate in management meetings Manage R&M for the restaurant through approved contractors as needed Control COGS, labor, and comps to budgets Assist in the execution of monthly inventory Write schedules for front‑of‑house staff while considering team strengths, budgets, events, and labor Qualifications
At least 3 years of management experience in a fast‑paced, high‑volume setting Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills Hospitality‑driven Wine knowledge Experience with Aloha and Opentable or similar POS programs Experience with Microsoft Office programs Willing to work extended hours and late nights Knowledgeable about Boka Restaurant Group Polished, professional, warm and hospitable Prepared to run all operations, including hiring and training FOH staff, daily financial procedures, repairs and maintenance, guest relations, event execution, preshift meetings, staff evaluations, and maintaining cost and sales goals Physical Requirements
Ability to lift 10–20 lbs if necessary Safely and effectively use all necessary tools and equipment Stand and walk for the entirety of an eight‑hour shift, including moving safely through all areas of the restaurant If you feel you meet the requirements and are a team player, experienced, passionate, and dedicated to your craft, we want to hear from you.
