Each team member is expected to deliver at least 100 credit hours per month, and the Managing Attorney ensures that the team collectively delivers 100 × team head accounts credit hours monthly. Our unique service model ensures speed, standardization, and client satisfaction by structuring every case into a clear assembly‑line pipeline.

Position Review The Managing Attorney will be both a hands‑on practitioner and a team leader, responsible for delivering high‑quality legal work while ensuring the productivity and efficiency of the immigration practice team. This role requires deep subject‑matter expertise across family immigration, humanitarian relief (U / T visas, waivers), business immigration (H‑1B, L‑1, E‑2, O‑1, NIW, EB‑1A / EB‑1C, EB‑2, EB‑3, EB‑5, PERM), and consular processing. The Managing Attorney will be held accountable for:

Direct Case Work

– Competently handling complex cases and mentoring team members.

Team Leadership

– Managing 1‑2 attorneys and 3‑4 paralegals / law clerks to meet case deadlines.

Performance and Productivity

– Ensuring each team member meets no less than 100 credit hours per month; managing a total team output of 100 × team numbers credit hours monthly.

Accountability

– Hold team responsible for case progress, billing benchmarks, and timely filing using Jira project management.

Discipline and Efficiency

– Manage and lead the team in executing our unique service assembly line model.

Key Responsibilities

Case Work & Legal Expertise Serve as lead attorney on complex matters in family, humanitarian, and business immigration practice areas. For standard cases, attorneys focus on the last phase of the service assembly line in legal review, sign‑off, and post‑filing explanation to our clients. For complex cases, attorneys may drive all phases of service assembly from drafting, finalizing, explaining, to legal review, sign‑off, and post‑filing explanation to our clients to ensure accuracy and strategy from the start.

Coordinate and manage attorneys for USCIS interviews. Review and sign filings, providing legal strategy and quality assurance.

Workflow Oversight Decide when cases should follow standard workflow versus attorney‑driven workflow. Ensure standard cases and attorney‑driven cases progress seamlessly through assembly line.

Team Management & Leadership Supervise attorneys, paralegals, and law clerks, providing guidance, training, and quality control. Conduct weekly and monthly performance check‑ins, ensuring staff are meeting billing and filing requirements. Enforce accountability by monitoring credit hour production, and case progress through Jira reports and dashboard. Foster a collaborative, high‑performance culture with clear expectations, and consistent feedback.

Operations and Productivity Collaborate with operations to improve SOPs and streamline workflows. Ensure timely filing and adherence to internal SOPs. Monitor and report case metrics (credit hours, deadlines, client satisfaction) to firm leadership. Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and standardization. Collaborate with intake, customer service, and operations teams to ensure seamless case management.

Qualifications

J.D. degree from an ABA‑credited U.S. law school, active license in good standing.

7+ years of immigration law experience, spanning family, humanitarian, and business immigration.

Prior experience in supervising attorneys, paralegals, or leading a legal team strongly preferred.

Ability to triage and assign cases effectively between case managers and attorneys.

Strong organizational and accountability skills, proven record of meeting deadlines and productivity goals.

Familiarity with Jira or equivalent project / case management tools.

Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
