The Superintendent will manage field operations for low-voltage systems—coordinating subcontractors, supervising craft labor, enforcing safety policies, maintaining documentation, and managing client expectations. The ideal candidate will bring 3 to 7 years of hands‑on experience with low‑voltage systems, including installation oversight of structured cabling, inside/outside plant systems, and communications infrastructure. Experience integrating security, audio‑visual, and communication systems is essential. Candidates holding PMP or BICSI‑RTPM credentials will be strongly preferred. Scope of Role
Oversee day‑to‑day jobsite activities for low‑voltage construction projects to ensure safe and efficient operations. Lead craft supervision, subcontractor coordination, material handling, and quality control activities. Enforce safety standards through active participation in toolbox talks, safety audits, and compliance checks. Coordinate installation of low‑voltage systems: structured cabling, communications, A/V, and security infrastructure. Develop and implement project‑specific pre‑job and mobilization plans. Participate in schedule development to align with project milestones and sequencing requirements. Conduct weekly coordination meetings with subcontractor foremen and field leaders. Monitor project progress and implement corrective measures to maintain schedule and budget adherence. Evaluate, mentor, and develop Assistant Superintendents, Coordinators, Engineers, and craft personnel. Maintain daily project logs, safety reports, labor tracking, and cost reports. Coordinate closely with vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery and installation of materials and equipment. Inspect all received materials for quantity, quality, and conformance with project specifications. Attend Owner/Architect/Contractor meetings to communicate project updates, risks, and schedule impacts. Promote positive relations with clients, project partners, and neighboring properties to maintain professional site reputation. Required Qualifications
