Social Services Warehouse Assistant (Seasonal)

DUTIES:
Drive TSA a truck/van for the purpose of transporting and collecting food and merchandise items
Coordinate multiple donation pickups and deliveries within SF from individual donors and companies
Load and unload truck/van, ensuring proper care and handling of donated items
Manage and keep records of the storage and processing of donated food & merchandise items
Janitorial duties at the Social Service Warehouse, sweeping, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, stocking
Cleanup of sidewalk/street and graffiti at Social Service Warehouse
Assist in the maintaining of all warehouse vehicles and equipment
Provide support for Clothing Room as needed
Maintain security and confidentiality of clients that receive services from the Social Service Warehouse
Provide exceptional customer service to all volunteers, clients, donors and TSA Officers and staff
Provide support for weekly food pantries as needed
Assist with seasonal assistance efforts as needed
All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Education Good Communication skills and ability to relate will to all levels of people Ability to handle multiple tasks and keep to a schedule Must have basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Ability to function as a team member Good physical condition & ability to lift 50 pounds Clean & Current driver's license preferred. EQUIPMENT USED:
TSA issued computer for the purpose of record keeping and communication via email Box truck and cargo van Pallet jack and/or forklift Standard warehouse and maintenance equipment items PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basis Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, and reach overhead Ability to operate telephone Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (usually food or clothing boxes)
