Job Summary – The Co-op Experience The Codonics Co-op Program has been enriching students for over 20 years. We offer an excellent environment for students to learn and make a significant contribution at a manufacturing company with a growing number of opportunities. This program provides real‑world work experience designing and developing state‑of‑the‑art technology regulated by the FDA, and many students receive full‑time employment upon graduation.
Duties And Responsibilities
Participate in product development including software design, implementation and testing.
Work with product managers and customers to understand product requirements.
Perform, revise and improve product test procedures.
Prepare documentation and reports related to testing, design and development activities.
Learn and follow medical industry design control practices.
Participate in daily operations of the Software Department involving both projects and technology.
Participate in medical industry trade shows.
Any and other duties as assigned.
Skills
Primary software development environment is object‑oriented using Java, C++, and various scripting languages.
Embedded product operating systems are Linux and Windows XPe.
Education
Computer Engineering / Computer Science student.
