Be a part of a truly cross‑functional team; Backend Engineers, Frontend Engineers, Product Teams, Designers, and QA’s. Participate in product planning (From discovery all the way to deployment); We want your input at all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle! Collaborate! Our teams work together to develop robust new features, APIs, continuously improve our industry‑leading products and find and fix any bugs at DeelSpeed. Ensure our customers receive a white‑glove experience with our products! Fully own the development of features on the client, server, service, and database. Technical Skills
TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Express; experience with NestJS, Vite, and Next.js is a plus. Design and implement server‑side APIs, data models, and business logic using mainly the Express framework. Create client‑side function‑based React components, hooks, stories, and tests to interact with your server‑side work. Build reusable and modular components on both the front and back end that promote code reusability, maintainability, and scalability. Optimize database schemas, queries, and interactions with Postgres. Perform thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of applications to ensure high‑quality deliverables. Stay updated with emerging web development trends, frameworks, and best practices, and recommend improvements to enhance development processes. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions effectively to team members and stakeholders. Qualifications
At least 4 years of Full‑Stack experience with a focus on TypeScript development. Expertise in designing, coding, testing, and maintaining applications using the above tech stack. Thrives in a collaborative, remote‑first work culture where teamwork and camaraderie are key. Embraces independence and takes ownership of projects yet excels in a team setting and loves contributing. Communicates complex ideas with ease and collaborates with diverse teams of technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Passionate about solving customer problems and a natural at troubleshooting issues. Adopts a business‑focused approach to software development, delivering high‑value outcomes for clients. Obsesses over details, keeping the customer experience top of mind. Nice to Have
Experience with SaaS products running 24/7 on a major cloud vendor. Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and asynchronous programming. Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Chai, Storybook, React Testing Library) and automated testing methodologies (Cypress). Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Total Rewards
