Gallagher Re seeks an ambitious brokerage talent with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in reinsurance or consulting for our Stamford office. This client‑facing role involves new business production, product development, and servicing existing clients. How You'll Make An Impact
Act as a key member of the broking team partnering with actuaries and cat modelers to analyze insurance risks on a portfolio level and advise on reinsurance treaty structures. Prepare, transmit, market, and complete reinsurance placements. Ensure company, market, and client documentation is issued accurately and on time. Coordinate internal resources to provide solutions to clients. Meet senior managers of client companies to present materials. Conduct research on industry topics and develop content for clients and prospects presented at conferences and tradeshows. Participate in the development of our global production strategy within a Product Vertical or Segment. Align with external and internal regulatory and statutory policies, procedures, and regulations. Supervisory Responsibilities
While this position does not have an official supervisory function, you will assist in the training and development of graduate hires. About You
Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university. 3+ years of experience in P&C insurance, reinsurance, and/or consulting. Experience giving presentations to clients and internal groups. Additional Considerations
ARe Designation or willingness to attain in the future. Team player with problem‑solving ability. Desire to build relationships with reinsurers. Comprehension of core client services, contracts practices, and procedures. Solid written and verbal communication skills with clients, prospects, and reinsurers. Effective presentation and response skills to groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public. Compensation And Benefits
