highly regarded boutique law firm in Chicago
that represents employers in a wide range of
employment defense litigation and counseling matters .
The firm is seeking a
mid-level Employment Litigation Attorney (3–7 years)
to join its collaborative team. This is an opportunity to work closely with experienced partners on
complex, high-stakes defense matters
while maintaining the hands-on involvement and balance that larger firms rarely provide.
The successful candidate will handle
single-plaintiff and class action defense
cases involving discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour claims, as well as day-to-day counseling on compliance, investigations, and policy development.
This position is ideal for an attorney who wants to:
Move away from the hierarchy and long hours of BigLaw, Take ownership of cases and client relationships, Work in a collegial, team-driven environment, Continue doing sophisticated defense work without sacrificing work-life balance.
Base pay range $150,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities: Manage all phases of employment defense litigation from discovery through trial Draft and argue motions in federal and state court Advise and defend corporate clients before administrative agencies Support clients with compliance and risk mitigation strategies
Qualifications: 3–7 years of employment litigation experience (defense preferred) Strong legal writing and analytical skills Excellent communication and client-handling skills
Compensation:
