Security clearance:
DoD Secret – U.S. citizenship required to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Position type:
Onsite – Full‑time, Mid‑Senior level.
What You Will Do:
Capture requirements; design ASIC/FPGA digital architecture using RTL, achieve timing closure, verify, and integrate into system.
Recommend and implement continuous improvement tools and practices for the group’s ASIC/FPGA design flow.
Contribute engineering estimates for new program pursuits.
Provide technical leadership for project design teams by breaking down work, planning activities, and reporting status.
Qualifications You Must Have:
STEM degree with minimum 8 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with minimum 5 years of experience; 12 years of experience if no degree.
Must be capable of obtaining a DoD security clearance; candidate subject to government security investigation/reinstatement.
RTL coding and simulation in Verilog or VHDL.
Digital circuit architecture, design, resource trade‑offs, timing analysis and closing.
Testbench development for RTL verification using System Verilog.
Proficiency with ASIC/FPGA synthesis and simulation tools (Modelsim, Synplify, Quartus, Vivado, or other FPGA tools).
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with revision control concepts and tools (Git, Subversion).
Ability to work with minimal supervision and in matrix projects with aggressive schedules and frequent milestones.
Strong oral and written communication skills; documentation and status presentation.
Familiarity with best practice chip‑level verification techniques (functional coverage, SystemVerilog).
ASIC/FPGA lab validation with advanced lab equipment.
Design for Test (DFT) and manufacturability issues.
Experience with Unix, scripting, C/C++, and/or Perl.
