Position Overview
A leading Private Equity firm is seeking a dynamic HR Generalist (AVP) to join its Chicago office. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping recruiting, HR operations, and talent strategy at a high-performing investment firm.
Base pay range $110,000.00/yr – $140,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
Lead full-cycle recruiting for operations roles and support investment hiring processes.
Manage scheduling, candidate experience, and external recruiting partnerships.
Build strong pipelines and creative sourcing strategies.
Support junior talent programming.
Own onboarding and offboarding processes.
Drive implementation of a new HRIS and oversee related project management.
Support compensation, reporting, and data-driven HR processes.
Partner directly with senior leaders on ad hoc HR projects.
Take ownership of initiatives in Learning & Development, talent management, and employee engagement.
Draft and issue offer letters quickly and accurately.
Drive initiatives that reinforce the firm’s values and employee engagement across global or multi-office teams.
Qualifications
Proven HR generalist experience in a lean, high-performing team.
Prior recruiting experience (financial or professional services experience a plus).
Comfortable working with senior, high-touch stakeholders.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Strong reporting and Excel skills.
Experience with Dayforce or UKG is a plus (not required).
Confident, proactive communicator with a collaborative, low-ego approach.
Thrives in a fast-paced, unstructured environment with shifting priorities.
