Overview
1 vacancy in Kanawha County. This position will serve as the Director of the Division of Cash Management under the direction of the Director of the Office of Grants Management. This position is responsible for ensuring the availability of cash for the operation of the numerous programs of the Department of Health, Health Facilities and Human Services and for oversight of the agency's compliance with the Federal Cash Management Act and state laws with assistance from a staff of two Accountant/Auditors.
Responsibilities
Ensure availability of cash for operation of programs of the Department of Health, Health Facilities and Human Services.
Maintain the cash flow of federal and state funds for various programs.
Oversight of agency compliance with the Federal Cash Management Act and state laws.
Coordinate various reports with the State Treasurer's Office.
Prepare and submit information for closing books to the Department of Administration's FARS unit.
Training and Experience
Graduation from a regionally accredited college or university with a degree in the area of assignment.
Experience may substitute for the training requirement on a year-for-year basis.
Five years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid administrative or supervisory experience in the area of assignment.
Graduate course work from an accredited college or university may substitute at the rate of fifteen (15) semester hours of training for every one (1) year of required experience.
Special Requirement A valid driver's license may be required.
