is a pivotal leadership position responsible for elevating the Financial Services and Sponsors Commercial team to achieve strategic objectives within the sector. We are seeking a seasoned professional with consultative sales skills within Financial Institutions, non-bank financial institutions, Fund Finance, Financial Sponsors, and Insurance, along with a proven track record of managing and developing high-performing sales teams, driving revenue growth, and building strong client relationships. You will build long-term partnerships, providing tailored solutions that address specific client needs and challenges and have the opportunity to influence key initiatives for the Ratings Business in the Americas region. Responsibilities and Impact
Lead strategic initiatives in building and nurturing relationships with key clients and prospects across Public and Private Markets, including insurance companies, financial institutions, non-bank financial institutions, and financial sponsors, focusing on tailored solutions to enhance client outcomes. Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to drive growth and enhance market position in the Financial Services sector, leveraging data analytics and AI-driven insights for strategic decision-making. Collaborate with senior executives to provide commercial insights and drive strategic initiatives, promoting cross-regional collaboration and understanding of market dynamics. Oversee revenue generation and market share expansion, ensuring targets are met or exceeded, while maintaining high standards of compliance. Utilize customer insights and market trends to inform sales strategies and product development, and adapt to changing circumstances. Provide visionary strategic leadership and direction to the Financial Services and Sponsors sales team, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives, and cultivating future leaders and succession planning. Drive performance improvement through effective sales metrics and continuous team development, fostering adaptability and creativity. Foster cross-functional collaboration to leverage resources and expertise across the organization, promoting a culture of collaboration and a global mindset. This section is applicable to US candidates. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $130,100 to $250,000. The final base salary will be based on geographic location, experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications. What We’re Looking For
Basic Required Qualifications: 12+ years of extensive experience in consultative sales. Deep understanding of client needs and strategic solutions in Debt Capital Markets within Financial Services (including Insurance, Banking, Non-bank Financial Institutions, Private Markets, Private Credit, or Alternative Investments) and Financial Sponsors. Proven leadership experience with a track record of managing sales teams and driving revenue growth. Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications preferred. Strong client relationship management skills with the ability to engage senior executives and stakeholders, promoting collaboration and a global mindset. Ability to lead change and drive innovation within a sales organization, acting as a role model for integrity, customer orientation, collaboration, and compliance. Analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making, demonstrating creativity and innovation. Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to connect with people at all levels. Strong influencing and interpersonal skills. Additional Preferred Qualifications
Extensive coaching and mentoring experience, including coaching others to become leaders, demonstrating emotional intelligence and adaptability. Advanced degree such as an MBA or equivalent in a relevant field preferred. Right to Work Requirements: This role is limited to persons with an indefinite right to work in the United States. All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week.
