Overview Perkins Coie is searching for a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive Pricing Analyst to join our Pricing Department. Reporting to the Senior Pricing Manager, this key team member will play a critical role in providing pricing analysis and consultation to support firm-wide initiatives. The Pricing Analyst will assist in the implementation and education of pricing tools, develop templates, maintain a comprehensive pricing content library, and support the creation of client-appropriate fee arrangements.
Responsibilities
Assist with pricing initiatives to improve customer service delivery.
Create pricing scenarios for fee arrangement development.
Support development and administration of pricing tools.
Provide timely, accurate, and relevant client/matter financial information.
Build forecasting models considering multiple levers and outcomes.
Analyze data sets, provide commentaries, and align conclusions to audience.
Proactively assess impact of historic data on future outcomes.
Identify opportunities for automation in pricing processes.
Perform other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications
Superior analytical & financial skills.
Proficiency with web-based systems.
Excellent oral & written communication.
Organizational skills & attention to detail.
Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience with database & financial reporting tools.
Strong interpersonal & consensus-building skills.
Adaptability & flexibility.
Preferred Skills
SQL & Microsoft SharePoint experience.
Theoretical/logical problem-solving approach.
Highly numerate, methodical, and meticulous.
Education, Licenses, Certifications, and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Accounting, Statistics, or Business.
Minimum of 3 years professional financial experience.
Law firm, service firm, or related experience.
Experience working with multidisciplinary teams.
Technology
Spreadsheet & Data Analysis: Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, Power Query, PivotTables), Google Sheets.
Financial Reporting Tools: Power BI.
Document Management: iManage, NetDocuments, SharePoint.
Collaboration & Communication: Microsoft Teams, Slack, Outlook, Zoom.
Presentation Tools: Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides.
Compensation Illinois compensation range: $83,510 to $125,780 annually
San Diego compensation range: $90,980 to $137,030 annually
New York compensation range: $91,820 to $138,290 annually
Washington state compensation range: $83,470 to $125,720 annually
Washington, D.C. compensation range: $90,150 to $135,780 annually
Benefits The position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, 401(k) plan, medical, dental, and vision insurance, accrued paid time off plan starting at 20 days annually, personal medical and parental leave, up to 10 paid holidays, and family care benefits.
