Medical-Legal Partnership Staff Attorney

Medical-Legal Partnership Staff Attorney Community Legal Aid seeks an attorney to be part of its Worcester-based medical-legal partnership (MLP) with UMass Memorial Health. The attorney will hold regular client intake hours at clinical sites; participate in leadership team and project evaluation meetings with clinical partners; serve as a liaison between the legal and clinical project partners; and help train, recruit, and mentor private volunteer attorneys who will accept pro bono referrals. The attorney will also handle a varied caseload involving homelessness prevention, income and health insurance maximization, domestic relations, special education, and guardianship. The attorney will have grant-reporting and administrative duties.
