Regional Sales Director

The Opportunity

The Regional Sales Director will oversee multi-state sales performance, team leadership, and key account strategy across a diverse wholesale network. This is a hands-on leadership role with direct impact on growth, profitability, and long-term customer partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of Regional Sales Managers and Account Executives across California and surrounding markets.

Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with company objectives and growth targets.

Manage key customer relationships and negotiate major contracts to expand revenue streams.

Analyze regional performance metrics, forecast trends, and identify opportunities for market expansion.

Collaborate with operations, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure service excellence and margin optimization.

Represent the company at trade events, conferences, and industry forums to strengthen brand visibility.

Ideal Candidate Profile

10+ years of experience in

wholesale distribution ,

industrial supply ,

building materials , or a related B2B environment.

Proven success in leading regional sales or business development functions with multimillion-dollar revenue responsibility.

Strong understanding of California’s wholesale market landscape, logistics, and key customer channels.

Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA preferred).
