Base pay range: $180,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr.

Essential Functions

Leadership & Team Development

Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing team of Market Development Managers, Inside Sales Reps, and Contractor Development Managers across the West regions.

Foster a culture of caring for customers, team members, and results, demonstrating professionalism, diligence, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Conduct regular market reviews, provide ongoing coaching, sales process and systems training, and drive teamwork and collaboration across roles.

Explore and apply relevant AI tools to assist in data/insights analysis, training, and more efficient execution of sales functions.

Sales Strategy & Execution

Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with national goals and growth targets.

Drive revenue growth through strategic account management, wholesaler location growth and expansion, market share gain, and execution of our key growth drivers.

Oversee team’s successful identification, pursuit, onboarding, and account success for select direct‑to‑contractor opportunities within the region.

Channel & Customer Management

Strengthen relationships with key wholesale distributors and regional branches of national accounts.

Collaborate with marketing to implement downstream contractor demand creation programs.

Evaluate and provide input to regional promotional and pricing strategies to drive sell‑through.

Forecasting & Performance Management

Own regional sales forecasting, pipeline management, budget planning and sales expenses.

Define and track KPIs and performance metrics using tools such as Power BI and HubSpot.

Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Partner with Sales Operations, Marketing, Customer Experience, Accounting, and other Regional Directors to ensure alignment and execution of national initiatives.

Provide feedback and collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to support product development and go‑to‑market strategies.

Required Experience

10+ years of progressive sales experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role managing multi‑region teams.

Proven success in the building products industry, particularly within the wholesale distribution channel.

Strong understanding of contractor engagement and downstream demand generation.

Proficiency in CRM and analytics tools (e.g., HubSpot, Power BI).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including use of MS Office suite.

Comfort and curiosity for AI applications, agents, and time‑saving tools for efficiency.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.

Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned region.

Compensation listed is total compensation and includes a range with base salary plus uncapped commission target.

Required Education Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
