The Role Strategic management of the Walgreens business to establish Wella as the market leader in sales and service. Lead the identification, development, and execution of strategies to deliver key business KPIs.
The ideal candidate will create the strategic vision and manage tactical implementation across all facets, including Joint Business Planning, Line Reviews, Promotional Execution, Financial Management, Business Analysis, Forecasting, Trade Spend Management, and Strategic Relationship Building.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute all presentations at Walgreens.
Lead strategy, tactics, and execution for all JBP activities.
Manage short‑term and long‑term business results, including innovative changes for broad financial impact.
Deliver volume, share, and ROI targets.
Drive distribution, shelving, pricing, and promotion support to optimize spend.
Identify and activate fact‑based sales opportunities.
Accurately forecast business.
Manage promotional funds to effectively drive performance.
Manage P&L.
Lead JBP & QBR presentations.
Execute merchandising strategy, tactical planning, and execution.
Leverage Nielsen/IRI insights and fact‑based selling.
Your Profile The ideal candidate enjoys managing business, taking risks, and thinking outside the box. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3‑5 years supporting a national account with direct Walgreens experience preferred.
Key Requirements
5+ years of commercial experience, highly desired experience with Fast Moving Consumer Goods Companies.
Bachelor’s degree.
Ability to travel a few times a year.
Creative, outgoing, and resilient personality.
Self‑motivated and passionate.
Highly developed communication and presentation skills.
High analytical capability.
Knowledge of syndicated data, household and panel data, plan‑ogram analysis, and marketing concepts.
Strong leadership and team‑oriented skills.
Potential to grow into larger roles within the company.
Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: $90,000 – $125,000 per year. The range listed is one component of Wella’s total rewards package. Other rewards may include an annual bonus plan or variable pay, depending on the role.
