Client Support
Lead meetings with clients, including client locations. Act as the main client contact for book of business. Effectively manage difficult client communications, including loss of coverage, claim denials, unfavorable underwriting, and other challenging renewal scenarios. Account Management
Negotiate and sell lines of insurance to clients to round out accounts as appropriate. Own all audit, review and claims processes for assigned book of business. Analyze data to draft client service plans, stewardship reports, and other meaningful reports tailored to the needs of the client and circumstances of the presentation. Insurance Expertise
Manage and develop strong personal relationships with appropriate insurance carrier personnel. Forecast industry trends to predict needed changes in client strategies. Review changes in carrier offerings and policies and relay information to the larger service team. Leadership
Mentor or formally direct the work of more junior team members. Facilitate and collaborate with the account team on the agency’s renewal strategy. Client Strategy
Create complex risk‑management strategies for accounts and other team members to attract and retain large client accounts. Partner with industry and carrier experts to deliver strategy and solution options to clients and the broader agency. Conduct book reviews to determine which accounts need an in‑person risk assessment or client meeting to support agency retention. Other duties as assigned. Some travel may be required. About You
Required: Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years client service and/or claims management experience. Must hold appropriate licensing as required and be able to travel up to 50% of the time. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and technology is necessary. Previous experience in managing client relationships is essential. Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred: Insurance knowledge. P&C experience preferred, as well as solid financial acumen. Compensation and Benefits
