Base pay range $58,656.00/yr - $88,000.00/yr

As an Entry-Level Waste Solutions Engineer, you will impact the world around you by helping us solve real-life challenges. You’ll support teams on critical projects while fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Based in North America (preferred locations Sacramento, CA; Bellevue, WA; Spokane, WA; Portland, OR; Boise, ID; Irvine, CA; or Anchorage, AK), you’ll assist a team of project managers, scientists, geologists, and engineers in delivering environmental services on time and within budget for world class projects. You’ll work with a knowledgeable and supportive group of professional staff to support projects through data collection and management, data review, development of technical reports, calculating emissions estimates, and more.

Responsibilities Providing support to project teams, contributing to data collection & management, preparing technical reports, calculating emissions estimates, and assisting with project deliverables.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering or closely related field

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

Willingness to perform field work

United States Citizenship

Ability to work in one of the preferred locations listed above

Preferred

A previous internship related to your field of study

Ability to communicate with all levels of management within Jacobs

Self-driven time management and organizational skills

Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and hold an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Engineer Intern (EI) designation *

Ability to obtain 40-hour Hazardous waste and emergency operations (HAZWOPER) training and current 8-hour HAZWOPER refresher class, if needed for role
