$58,656.00/yr - $88,000.00/yr

Based in North America (preferred locations Sacramento, CA; Bellevue, WA; Spokane, WA; Portland, OR; Boise, ID; Irvine, CA; or Anchorage, AK), you’ll assist a team of project managers, scientists, geologists, and engineers in delivering environmental services on time and within budget for world‑class projects. You’ll work with a knowledgeable and supportive group of professional staff to support projects through data collection and management, data review, development of technical reports, calculating emissions estimates, and so much more.

Here’s what you’ll need
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering or Chemical Engineering or closely related field
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Willingness to perform field work
United States Citizenship
Ability to work in one of the preferred locations for this internship (Sacramento, CA; Bellevue, WA; Spokane, WA; Portland, OR; Boise, ID; Irvine, CA; or Anchorage, AK) or other Western US locations based on project needs
Ideally, you’ll also have
A previous internship related to your field of study
Ability to communicate with all levels of management within Jacobs
Self‑driven time management and organizational skills
Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and hold an Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) or Engineer Intern (EI) designation *
Ability to obtain 40‑hour Hazardous waste and emergency operations (HAZWOPER) training and current 8‑hour HAZWOPER refresher class, if needed for role
