The
Senior Clinical Administrative Coordinator
is responsible for completing set processes and protocols. Working cooperatively with all members of the care team, the coordinator supports the vision and mission of the organization, delivers excellent customer service, and supports teams in meeting financial, clinical and service goals.
Schedule This is a full‑time (40 hours/week) position. Monday through Friday, an 8‑hour shift from 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., may include occasional overtime as needed. It is a hybrid position requiring in‑office attendance at 1132 Bishop St. Suite 400, Honolulu, HI 96813 up to three times a week. Specific days are determined by business needs.

This position follows a hybrid schedule with three in‑office days per week.
Primary Responsibilities
Act as a Subject Matter Expert for other team members
Manage the intake of members or the admission/discharge information post‑notification
Work with hospitals, clinics, facilities and the clinical team to manage requests for services
Manage the referral process, processing incoming and outgoing referrals and prior authorizations, including intake, notification and census roles
Resolve inquiries from members and/or providers
Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED (or higher) OR 4+ years of experience working within the healthcare industry or with healthcare insurance
2+ years of experience analyzing and solving customer problems
1+ years of medical office experience
Advanced level of proficiency with MS Word, Excel (create, edit, save documents) and Outlook (email and calendar management), and the ability to use multiple web applications
Access to a designated quiet workspace in your home (separated from non‑workspace areas) with the ability to secure Protected Health Information (PHI)
Live in a location that can receive an approved high‑speed internet connection or leverage an existing high‑speed internet
Reside on the island of Oahu
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working within the healthcare industry and with healthcare insurance
Experience working in a hospital, physician's office or medical clinic setting
Prior work at home experience
Clerical or administrative support background
Experience working in a call center
Knowledge of ICD‑10 and CPT codes
