The Marketing Specialist supports project planning and execution for marketing promotion, advertising, sponsorships and client services under the direction of the Marketing Director. Responsibilities include research, brainstorming, writing, campaign assessment and development of collateral materials, advertisements, sponsorships and promotional materials for TDIC and TDIC Insurance Solutions. Strategic Planning

Assist in the development of marketing plans and budgets in collaboration with the Marketing Director. Ensure timelines and milestones are met within budget. Track budgets for assigned projects/initiatives. Maintain awareness of current marketing trends, competitive landscape and consumer attitudes. Project Management & Execution

Own project lifecycles from kickoff to delivery and manage work progress to achieve objectives. Oversee schedules and key initiative dates. Coordinate print and digital campaigns with stakeholders, including production, list generation, content and offers. Facilitate internal and external processes to route marketing materials for approval. Collaborate with creative, production teams and vendors to implement campaigns. Manage trafficking for traditional media and coordinate paid media placements with external vendors. Track program issues and communicate risks to the team. Marketing Performance Tracking

Use analytics and performance indicators to track campaign effectiveness. Assist in preparing detailed reports and provide insights for strategic decisions. Recommend new or adjusted tactics to maximize campaign impact. Process Optimization & Documentation

Improve internal systems, templates and tools to drive efficiency and scalability. Introduce new project methodologies where appropriate. Build and maintain reference documents for processes and campaign information. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Communicate marketing strategies and project status to all organizational levels. Maintain vendor relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver results on time and on budget. Interact with diplomacy and tact across the organization. Work collaboratively while also exercising good judgment and professionalism. Minimum Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years in advertising, marketing, or communications in an advertising agency, insurance company, or association. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications or journalism preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong computer skills: intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and internet savvy. Preferred Qualifications

Experience with marketing for an insurance carrier, agency or sales-focused organization. Experience with project management/collaboration tools (SharePoint, Jira, Confluence). Experience with website content management systems (DNN, WordPress). Experience with Google Analytics and Google Data Studio. Experience with tradeshow or event marketing. Experience analyzing and interpreting market data. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, media specs and vendor management. Strong budgeting, timelines and resource allocation skills. Understanding of multi-channel creative and media workflows (digital, video, social, print, etc.). Strong grounding in marketing concepts and brand principles. Proven ability to deliver results with cross-functional teams on time and on budget. Ability to translate goals into strategies, plans and tactics. Strong project, analytical, communication and time-management skills. Experience planning and executing multi-channel campaigns and programs. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and balance priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, creativity and problem solving. Ability to work autonomously and take initiative while collaborating as needed. Working Conditions
