Product Data Management Engineer

in

New Orleans, Louisiana or Kennedy Space Center, Florida .

Position Responsibilities

Collaborate with teams to develop, analyze, manage, and verify compliance of process and product baselines for complex products

Define, plan, coordinate, and conduct product and subsystem level technical design reviews and audits for new and derivative products

Analyze complex product trades and changes, developing technically complete change proposals

Contribute to the development and implementation of Configuration and Data Management standards, processes, and tools

Define and allocate Configuration and Data Management requirements for product hardware, software, and engineering design data systems throughout the product lifecycle

Coordinate the integration of product elements and resolve issues with engineering product structure

Develop, integrate, and implement engineering technical program plans, including impacts, risks, and lessons learned across multiple engineering functions

Work under general direction

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Export Control Compliance:

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. A “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee). This role requires the ability to obtain access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

Experienced, Level 3: Typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Lead, Level 4: Typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

Experience substantiating product compliance with performance and functional (FCA) requirements and with physical/design (PCA) requirements

Experience building, assessing, and auditing ADAB (As Designed As Built) configuration

Familiarity and experience industry standard EIA-649

Experience conducting supplier audits, assessing supplier quality systems, and driving corrective actions to closure through supplier nonconformance resolution and continuous improvement initiatives

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Experienced Level 3 Summary Pay Range: $ 90,100 - $ 121,900

Lead Level 4 Summary Pay Range: $ 113,050 - $ 152,950
