Product Data Management Engineer, Experienced or Lead Level
Join Boeing as a Product Data Management Engineer. The role focuses on developing, analyzing, managing, and verifying compliance of process and product baselines for complex products, supporting Boeing’s mission to innovate across aerospace and defense.
Position Responsibilities
Collaborate with teams to develop, analyze, manage, and verify compliance of process and product baselines for complex products
Define, plan, coordinate, and conduct product and subsystem level technical design reviews and audits for new and derivative products
Analyze complex product trades and changes, developing technically complete change proposals
Contribute to the development and implementation of Configuration and Data Management standards, processes, and tools
Define and allocate Configuration and Data Management requirements for product hardware, software, and engineering design data systems throughout the product lifecycle
Coordinate integration of product elements and resolve issues with engineering product structure
Develop, integrate, and implement engineering technical program plans, including impacts, risks, and lessons learned across multiple engineering functions
Work under general direction
Basic Qualifications (Required)
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent non‑US qualification directly related to the work statement
Level 3 (Experienced): 5 or more years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Level 4 (Lead): 9 or more years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred Qualifications (Desired)
Experience substantiating product compliance with performance and functional (FCA) requirements and with physical/design (PCA) requirements
Experience building, assessing, and auditing ADAB (As Designed As Built) configuration
Familiarity with industry standard EIA‑649
Experience conducting supplier audits, assessing supplier quality systems, and driving corrective actions through supplier nonconformance resolution and continuous improvement initiatives
Location New Orleans, Louisiana or Kennedy Space Center, Florida (candidate must be U.S. Person; 100% onsite)
Export Control Compliance Candidate must be a U.S. Person (citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) and must meet Export Control compliance requirements.
Shift and Work Hours First shift, 100% onsite.
Compensation Level 3 (Experienced): $90,100 – $121,900
Level 4 (Lead): $113,050 – $152,950
