Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of relevant experience; Master’s + 10 years; PhD + 7 years; or equivalent combination. Proven track record of business development, capture, or account management success with Army APG customers. Established relationships with leaders at Army C5ISR Center, DEVCOM, PEO C3T, or other APG organizations. Experience developing pipelines and leading winning pursuits in a competitive environment. Knowledge of DoD acquisition processes and contracting. Active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one. US Citizenship Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with Army Futures Command priorities and APG’s role in capability development. Experience in C5ISR, IT modernization, tactical networks, electronic warfare, or cybersecurity. Strong communication, teaming, and negotiation skills. Peraton is seeking an Account Manager to lead business growth with the U.S. Army at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG). This individual will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive strategy across Army C5ISR, DEVCOM, PEO C3T, and other APG mission partners. The Account Manager will cultivate senior-level relationships, shape acquisition strategies, and position Peraton as a trusted partner in Army modernization, readiness, and innovation. Responsibilities
Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities with Army customers at APG. Develop and maintain strong customer relationships with senior leaders and acquisition officials across C5ISR Center, DEVCOM, PEO C3T, and related mission areas. Shape acquisition strategies, lead capture efforts, and position Peraton solutions to align with Army modernization priorities. Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities from early-stage RFI through proposal submission. Collaborate with capture managers, solution architects, and program leaders to develop winning proposals. Represent Peraton at APG industry days, Army technical forums, and trade shows. Drive organic growth on existing programs while targeting recompetes and new modernization contracts.
