General Summary:

To provide quality patient care services to the patients of Allergy & ENT Associates under the direction of physicians/providers and the nursing staff. Supports the goals and the objectives of the Company.

Selected Duties and Responsibilities: Provides direct and indirect patient care under the direction of the physicians/providers and RN/LVN nursing staff. Follows office policies, procedures, and protocols as appropriate. Communicates effectively with other members of the health care team including accurate documentation in patient charts. Follows OSHA regulations and the safety guidelines of the Practice. Follows HIPAA policies and procedures. Respects and maintains patient confidentiality. Performs specific Job Activities as assigned per office location. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge of basic nursing procedures. Must be precise, focused and have high attention to detail Skilled in completing assigned medical office procedures and tasks. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, computer skills to include Microsoft Office, Internet and EPM/EHR. Must be self directed and able to work independently. Education:

High school diploma or equivalent. Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or comparable experience. One year medical office experience needed. Current CPR certification. Non Smoking Environment
