Provides care to patients following established standards and practices. Offers diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive healthcare services for Allergy and ENT patients. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Promotes and maintains patient health by providing medical services under physician supervision. Contributes to physician efficiency by identifying short-term and long-term patient care issues. Recommends options and courses of action for patient care. Implements physician directives. Assesses patient health through interviews and physical examinations, including medical histories. Determines abnormal conditions by administering or ordering diagnostic tests and interpreting results. Documents patient care services accurately. Performs therapeutic procedures such as injections, suturing, and wound management. Provides patient education and counseling. Develops and implements patient management plans. Maintains a safe and compliant working environment. Adheres to infection control policies and legal requirements. Maintains professional knowledge through ongoing education and networking. Supports team development through training and educational opportunities. Education and Experience
Graduate of an accredited PA program and/or licensed as an Advanced Practice RN by the Texas Board of Nursing. Current certification by NCCPA. Active Texas licensure/certification as a PA/NP. Current BLS certification. Knowledge of medical care, equipment, medications, and patient education principles. Physical Demands
Repetitive movements, exposure to ill patients, communicable diseases, and allergens. Work Environment
Indoor clinic setting with typical hours Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays or travel. Additional Details
