Job Description
We are looking for an experienced
Sales Director
to lead our sales operations and drive business growth in both local and regional markets. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge in
metal stamping, precision tooling, injection moulding, and machining , along with a proven track record in strategic sales management. Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue and profit targets. Identify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining relationships with key existing clients. Lead and guide the Sales team in preparing proposals, quotations, and business presentations. Conduct contract negotiations and ensure competitive pricing and profitability. Work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure customer requirements are met. Provide technical input and product recommendations to support customer needs. Monitor market trends, customer demands, and competitor activities to guide business planning. Prepare annual sales budgets, forecasts, and performance reports for management review. Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and customer meetings. Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and ISO requirements. Mentor, train, and evaluate the Sales team to strengthen performance and accountability. Travel regionally as required to meet customers and support business development. Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field. Experience:
Minimum 10 years of experience in sales, including 5 years in a leadership role within the
metal stamping, tooling, or precision engineering industry . Technical Knowledge: Metal stamping, tool making, injection moulding, and machining processes. Costing, pricing, and manufacturing workflow understanding. Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Excellent planning, problem-solving, and presentation abilities. Ability to build long-term customer relationships and manage key accounts. Attributes: Customer-oriented, driven, and professional. Analytical thinker with a proactive and hands-on approach. Able to travel frequently and work independently.
