$31–$33 per hour

Responsibilities
Plan, organize, develop, and direct maintenance, repair, and housekeeping of the physical plant, interior and exterior, to keep the property safe, clean, and comfortable.
Demonstrate mechanical ability to work on equipment such as washers, extractors, dryers, refrigeration and heating units, ice machines, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
Troubleshoot electrical problems—wall switches, lighting, cover plates, receptacles, wiring, resident call systems, and kitchen equipment.
Plan, order, and install cabinets for apartment remodels; perform carpentry and sheetrock repairs.
Plan, order, and perform painting of interior and exterior—dispose of materials in compliance with EPA guidelines.
Perform minor plumbing repairs—faucets, showers, drains.
Conduct daily inspections of outside grounds and promptly correct any needed items to keep the property tour ready.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prefer two (2) years experience in building maintenance, housekeeping, electrical, plumbing, and structural work; knowledge of building construction is helpful.
Prefer one (1) year experience supervising and managing employees.
Able to safely operate a wide variety of equipment and tools.
Knowledge of or ability to learn assisted living and dementia care.
Able to work with seniors and interact with cognitively impaired individuals patiently.
Flexible, adapt, respond to change, and prioritize tasks and projects in stressful situations.
Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical, TB, and COVID‑19 or other communicable disease testing per regulatory guidelines.
