Coordinate corporate ID and badges for new hires and contingent workers. Maintain employee data in Workday for new hires, exits, and internal changes. Update employee master file on required scenarios. Maintain organizational chart and monthly reporting. Create personnel action forms for new hires and delete employees no longer working for the company. Ensure required documentation and compliance. Maintain physical record of employee file and move to new position. Payroll Preparation
Manage payroll feed from managers and team leads, coordinate with payroll vendor (add new hires, delete exits, administer vacations). Provide vacation app and monthly reporting to managers. Understand calculation of payroll and salaries, deductions including benefits and taxes for correct net pay. Ensure payroll complies with Costa Rican labor and tax law(s); submit required reports to authorities (social security and tax jurisdictions). Maintain accurate payroll and employee records, including wage garnishments; ensure compliance with garnishments hierarchy. Facilitate special payments such as bonus, Christmas bonus, merit increase changes and expat salaries when applicable. Address employee payroll questions (salary queries, salary certifications). Create payroll reports, including WD global payroll report of employee data for local payroll reporting. Partner with third-party payroll vendor to deliver accurate, timely payroll semi-monthly or as necessary basis. Administer payrolls in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. Compensation
Provide inputs on salary information for analysis and decision making. Mobility Process
Work with global mobility team on local required actions. Responsible for mobility process of expats and short-term assignments, together with regional and global mobility contact. Involved in expats monthly reporting. Manage expat manual reports for taxes objectives. Employee Services
Administer benefits, letters, documents, travel insurance. Qualifications
Education: Education in Accounting, Business Administration, HR, or Psychology field. Education: Strong proficiency in English essential (100%). Education: Microsoft Office Advanced Knowledge (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook). Work Experience
Required: At least 2-3 years of relevant payroll, tax, Costa Rica labor law experience. Desirable: Workday experience and experience working with third-party payroll vendor(s). Skills
Excellent customer service skills. Advanced spreadsheet knowledge. Experience dealing with customers and empathy skills. Handle confidential and sensitive information, strong integrity, ethical behaviors, data privacy standards. Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills for continuous improvement. Ability to collect, analyze and interpret data. Workspace- and Working Conditions
Office workplace. Screen work constitutes approximately 90% of total working time. Ability to travel internationally to the US if needed. Your Application
