Overview Boutique law firm with sophisticated commercial real estate and business transactional practice is seeking a full‑time real estate attorney with 3‑6 years of experience in a real‑estate transactional practice. Candidate must have significant experience in the area of commercial real estate law as well as outstanding drafting skills, work ethic, and attention to detail. Must be reliable, responsible, motivated, friendly, and able to thrive in a small firm environment. Competitive salary and benefits.

Pay Range Direct mail: $150,000 – $210,000 per year

Responsibilities

Draft and negotiate real‑estate transaction documents, including acquisitions, financing, leasing, and development.

Represent sophisticated real‑estate investors and developers in complex transactions.

Manage multiple complex transactions under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active California license to practice law.

3‑6 years of experience as a real‑estate transactional attorney, with a focus on representing sophisticated real‑estate investors and developers.

At least two years of experience at a larger, national, or regional law firm.

Strong expertise in drafting and negotiating real‑estate transaction documents.

In‑depth knowledge of real‑estate law, including acquisitions, financing, leasing, and development.

Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple complex transactions under tight deadlines.

Candidates with significant litigation or corporate experience will not be considered.

Benefits

Eligibility to participate in 401K after a six‑month qualification period. Firm contributes 3% of annual salary to 401K.

Options for HMO and PPO health‑care coverage, plus dental and vision. Employees pay employee share of basic HMO or PPO coverage; spouse and dependent coverage paid by employee.
