Annual Bonus Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Experienced Staff Accountant located in San Diego, CA. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks including maintaining financial records, preparing and reconciling financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The role will also involve assisting with audits, budget preparation, and financial planning and analysis. Additionally, the Staff Accountant will collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and systems. Qualifications
Strong skills in accounting, financial statements preparation, and financial analysis Experience with accounts payable and receivable, general ledger accounting, and reconciliations Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and audit processes Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Effective communication and interpersonal skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or working towards it is a plus Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Experience working at an accounting firm is a plus Seniority level
