UCSB Professional and Continuing Education (PaCE) seeks a Program Manager to drive the future of its Engineering and Technology training portfolio. The Program Manager leads the design, launch and marketing of industry‑aligned training programs, collaborates with advisory boards and industry partners, and oversees budgets, enrollment and program quality. Responsibilities

Conduct market research, assess demand, and develop new technology training programs. Build collaborations with technology companies, create advisory boards, and design curricula with measurable outcomes. Manage program budgets, set course fees, and ensure financial sustainability. Coordinate with PaCE Marketing to promote new programs and strengthen enrollment. Recruit, hire and support instructors; manage contracts and instructor relations. Monitor competitor programs, provide enrollment and budget projections, and offer leadership insights on ROI. Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or equivalent experience. 4–6 years experience producing and delivering training programs in partnership with industry. 1–3 years experience with curriculum design and program management. 1–3 years experience in marketing, sales and business processes. 1–3 years experience in sales and CRM software such as Salesforce. Working knowledge of online training platforms and instructional technology. Strong analytical skills to design learning outcomes that meet student needs. Excellent writing, interpersonal and communication skills for diverse audiences. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Google Suite, Zoom and other digital tools. Preferred Qualifications

1–3 years experience conducting customer needs assessment. 1–3 years experience customizing systems and tools to support operations. Solid knowledge of Destiny One student lifecycle management software. Special Conditions of Employment
