Senior Production Systems Engineer
The Univision Network Limited Partnership in Miami, FL seeks a full-time Senior Production Systems Engineer to design, configure, and maintain the facility’s intercom systems (RTS, ADAM and Clearcom), Audio over IP (Dante), Audio consoles (Calrec), and other audio related systems. Resolve support requests and perform preventative maintenance on production systems, equipment, including but not limited to switchers, audio consoles, microphones, Radio Frequency (RF) production equipment (wireless Microphones, IFBs and in ear monitors), video/audio distribution equipment, cameras, multiviewers. Responsibilities
Install, upgrade, and maintain production systems. Troubleshoot and resolve problems with production systems equipment. Troubleshoot plant video distribution, monitoring and distribution equipment. Fully create, develop and implement SOP’s and training documents pertaining to the various operations of computer systems including but not limited to edit systems, project archiving and network related procedures. Provide operational training to end-users, as required. Assist with documenting, maintaining and creating back-ups of standard configurations. Provide input on equipment and software purchases. Maintain an inventory of current equipment including a log showing the latest versions of software running on production systems including tracking the licensing of software and maintenance agreement status. Complete daily shift reports giving details about tasks performed, solutions to problems solved and identify open items that need to carry to the following shifts. Responsible for participating in, and in some cases directing, the training or cross-training of other team members. Responsible for the configuration, preventative and corrective maintenance of all video/audio and RF production equipment in studios, control rooms and related Univision production facilities. Plan, configure, test, and support all production equipment used in the facility. Qualifications
Must have 10 years of experience as a production systems engineer. Must be fluent in written and spoken Spanish. Must have experience troubleshooting solid state imaging cameras, audio and video servers, audio consoles, video switchers, digital effects, and playback systems such as slow motion, EVS, character generators and graphics playback systems. Must have experience troubleshooting distribution equipment such as plant routers, digital amplifier’s, sync generators, monitoring equipment, 5.1 multichannel audio and audio processing equipment.
