Senior Mechanical HVAC Engineer at
Jacobs . This role focuses on delivering cost‑effective, transformative HVAC solutions for heavy industrial clients across specialty chemical, electric vehicle, manufacturing, metals, pulp and paper markets. Base Pay Range
$123,600.00/yr – $162,300.00/yr Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and construct HVAC systems for industrial facilities including chilled water, cooling water, and four‑pipe systems. Sizing and selecting equipment, preparing construction design packages, and producing air flow diagrams (AFDs), process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and general arrangements. Develop design criteria for general comfort heating and cooling, temperature/ humidity control, unique pressurization, and cleanliness requirements for clean room applications. Coordinate with other disciplines, ensuring schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks. Qualifications
Professional Engineering License. At least ten (10) years of experience in the design of HVAC systems for industrial facilities. Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to HVAC system design. Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Adaptability to work within a fast‑paced team environment with multiple deadlines. Desired Skills
Experience with Revit, Carrier HAP, Trane Trace 700, and Trane Trace 3D. Experience in the design of plumbing/utility systems. Benefits & Perks
