Responsibilities
Layout and design of HVAC systems Development of the design criteria for HVAC systems, including general comfort heating and cooling, accuracy of temperature or humidity control, and any pressurization or cleanliness requirements for specific applications (e.g., clean rooms). Development of conceptual and preliminary design documents, including sizing calculations, Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs), Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and general arrangements. Development of final design documents including specifications, sequences of operation, duct/piping layouts, and final construction documents for systems such as chilled water and cooling water. Coordination with other disciplines. Qualifications
Professional Engineering License. At least ten (10) years’ experience in the design of HVAC systems for industrial facilities. Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to the design of HVAC systems. Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Adaptability to work within a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines. Ability to lead a building mechanical team on a project and to collaborate with other discipline team members remotely. Preferred and Additional Skills
Software experience in Revit, Carrier HAP, Trane Trace 700, and Trane Trace 3D. Experience in the design of plumbing/utility systems. Benefits and Employment Details
