As IOCDF’s Social Media & Design Manager, you will shape how our mission shows up every day. You’ll lead social strategy and daily execution, create compelling graphics and video, and amplify our impactful events and resources—helping more people discover hope and evidence-based help. This role is ideal for someone who combines creative vision with practical execution—skilled in social media, design, and video, while bringing the organizational and communication strengths needed to manage projects smoothly and adapt to new tools and trends. This role will report to IOCDF’s Director of Communications and Digital Strategy. Pay and Location
Base pay range: $65,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid remote in Boston, MA 02108) Responsibilities
Social Media: Lead IOCDF’s social strategy and daily execution across Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging platforms—identifying the best ways to communicate on each channel and exploring new opportunities for growth. Develop and maintain a clear, trusted voice that highlights IOCDF’s expertise and positions us as a leading resource while helping to reach and engage new audiences. Manage and optimize YouTube (channel hygiene, playlists, descriptions, thumbnails). Compile social media metrics and translate data into clear recommendations to improve reach and engagement. Design & Video: Design graphics for digital campaigns, social media, and event marketing; create and maintain brand-aligned visual templates for internal/external use; produce and edit both short- and long-form video for campaigns, events, and social; clip and publish livestream highlights; maintain StreamYard brand assets and account settings; prep show layouts; compile livestream and video metrics and translate data into clear recommendations to improve reach and engagement. Qualifications to Perform the Job
3+ years in social media, design, and video editing. Proficiency with Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere) for both digital and print purposes. Strong experience with video production and editing for both long- and short-form videos (including interviews, reels, etc.). Strong experience with platform-specific strategy development and execution for Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, and YouTube. Excellent ability to monitor, capture, and communicate social media and video analytics. Demonstrated interest in following social media trends and creative ways to use new or existing platforms. Excellent communication and project management skills. Strong ability to craft impactful and accurate captions, headlines, and short summaries. Thrives in a team environment that requires collaboration across internal departments as well as external stakeholders. Ability to manage and integrate multiple campaigns under tight deadlines. Strong attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with Reddit, TikTok, and emerging social platforms. Proven ability to develop content for diverse and multilingual audiences. Spanish language proficiency. Experience using Sprout Social.
