About Us Sachi & Maja designs and plans weddings for rad couples by infusing fun and chill throughout the process. We offer Month-of coordination, Partial Planning, Full Planning as well as non-wedding event planning. We also offer floral design (personals, centerpieces and accent arrangements). We are a Bay-Area based, POC and woman-owned business that is dedicated to creating beautiful, meaningful events with as little carbon footprint as possible. This hybrid role involves planning and coordinating weddings, handling administrative duties, and assisting with sales and client relations.
Key Responsibilities Wedding Planning & Coordination:
Work closely with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and budget for their wedding day.
Create detailed wedding timelines, floor plans, and event schedules to ensure smooth execution.
Coordinate with vendors (caterers, florists, photographers, etc.), venues, and other third-party service providers.
Provide on-site coordination and supervision of wedding events to ensure everything runs according to plan.
Manage guest lists, seating arrangements, and any special requests or accommodations.
Assist clients with decision‑making, offering expert advice and recommendations on wedding themes, décor, and other key elements.
Oversee logistics, transportation, and timelines to ensure a seamless and memorable event experience.
Additional Responsibilities & Expectations
Stay updated on the latest trends in wedding planning, design, and event management.
Assist with post‑event follow‑up, including client feedback and testimonials.
Other tasks and duties as needed to support the smooth operation of the business.
Required Qualifications
A minimum of 2 years experience as a wedding planner is required to be considered for this role.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, etc.), Canva, and other scheduling/CRM tools.
Strong ability to build relationships with potential clients.
High level of attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Ability to handle a variety of administrative tasks with professionalism and accuracy.
Flexible, adaptable, and willing to work evenings and weekends as needed for events.
A passion for weddings and making clients' dreams come true.
Candidate must have their own reliable means of transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with wedding/event planning software (e.g., Aisle Planner, Prismm, etc.).
