Sales Consultant
Base pay range: $52,000 – $125,000 per year
Job Description We are looking for candidates with all levels of sales experience to become a part of our growing team at Bay Ridge Nissan. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone seeking a supportive and friendly work environment that values work/life balance while offering rewarding pay.
Daily Work Schedule
Continuously develop product and sales acumen to become the vehicle authority; know the ins and the outs of product offerings, optional packages, and the latest technologies for new and used cars.
Develop relationships with customers to build a client-base for life.
Exhibit consultative selling skills and assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
Handle customer concerns, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within reasonable time limits using dealership’s CRM, phone, text and email.
Perform high-quality, professional demonstrations of new/used vehicles.
Follow up with buyers to ensure a successful referral business.
Learn to overcome objections and thrive within sales situations.
Become a team leader by helping the sales team achieve their goals set by management.
Report directly to the Senior Management team regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyzes.
Bring leadership, ‘A game’ along with a positive attitude to work every single day.
Qualifications
Reliable, self-starter mentality and ambitious spirit.
Ready to waste no time on learning new product ins and outs; eager to improve.
Professional, well-groomed personal appearance.
At least one year of prior employment effectively communicating with customers face-to-face or telephone contact.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Strong work ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Strong computer and multitasking skills using various provided computer programs as selling tools.
Open to constructive feedback to improve performance and development.
Strong attention to details and operating a clean, organized, presentable workplace.
Protect customer’s information while collecting and transcribing data to complete paperwork.
