CAREPLAY Academy currently operates with an enrolment of 60 children. We are a Play Based Preschool where children are viewed as competent and capable and we aim to help them find the joy of childhood.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Childcare Director located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The Childcare Director will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the childcare center, including managing staff, ensuring compliance with licensing regulations, creating and implementing educational programs, and maintaining open communication with parents. The role also includes ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children, and providing excellent customer service to families.
Qualifications
Must have a current Florida state Director Credential or be willing to obtain
Knowledge of Billing via pro care, ELC and The Florida State Food Program.
Skills in Childcare and Early Childhood Development
Experience in Education and creating educational programs
Strong Communication skills for interacting with parents and staff
Customer Service skills to ensure a positive experience for families
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a childcare or early learning environment
Leadership and management skills
Knowledge of state licensing requirements and regulations
