Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking experienced engineers in design and analysis of Electronically Scanned Arrays (ESAs) and other antennas, Computational Electromagnetics (CEM), and RF/Microwave design to lead the development of next‑generation antenna products. Location:

Base pay range: $163,200.00 – $244,800.00 per year. Responsibilities

Lead a team of antenna design engineers and RF analysts through design, modeling, and simulation of complex and highly integrated antenna systems Derive subsystem requirements (hardware and software), flow‑down, and configuration management Oversee RF pattern modeling, optimization, and installed performance analysis Provide technical input on overall antenna architecture, including power distribution, antenna controls, and RF distribution Present to internal and external customers Support Antenna Integration and Test (AI&T) planning and execution Mentor junior engineers on antenna design Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar engineering discipline (STEM) with a minimum of 12 years of design experience, or 10 years with a master’s degree, or 7 years with a Ph.D. Extensive ESA antenna design and analysis experience from concept design through AI&T Experience with CEM modeling tools such as HFSS, CST, TRICA GRASP Ability to translate system performance and operational specifications into hardware requirements, design, and test specifications Experience leading teams, mentoring others, communicating with all levels of an organization, being adaptable, creative, collaborative, and comfortable working independently while solving difficult problems No clearance required to start but must have the ability to obtain and maintain SCI access Preferred Qualifications

Expertise in ESA antenna design and analysis experience from concept design through AI&T Experience developing complex antenna architectures Ability to derive antenna performance requirements and flow to subassemblies and components Previous experience leading antenna design teams Experience with power, RF, and digital signal distribution Completed radiator, manifold or tile designs Hands‑on AI&T experience from planning through execution Active TS/SCI clearance Benefits: Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonus, and long‑term incentives for certain positions.
