A leading company in the advanced manufacturing and technology sector is seeking an Inventory and Logistics Specialist. This role supports day-to-day inventory operations and shipping / receiving activities on-site. The specialist will help maintain material accuracy, streamline storage, and coordinate the movement of parts and assemblies across facilities to ensure smooth production and operations.
Key Responsibilities
Perform daily inventory tasks: receiving, storing, issuing, kitting, and cycle counting
Maintain traceability and accountability of materials in ERP systems
Support inbound shipments from suppliers and outbound logistics to customers, test sites, and operations
Follow established workflows for warehousing, handling, and shipping / receiving
Collaborate with supply chain, production, and quality teams to ensure timely material availability
Recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reliability in logistics processes
Job Requirements
Experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics operations
Background in aerospace, defense, automotive, or advanced manufacturing industries
Familiarity with ERP / MRP systems and standard inventory practices
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to succeed in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement tools
Knowledge of domestic and international shipping regulations, including hazardous materials
Salary:
$75,000 yearly
