THE WORK
You’ll conduct daily, weekly, and monthly safety inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA, local, and company standards, while reviewing and updating Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and site-specific safety plans.
You’ll ensure subcontractors and vendors meet safety contractual obligations before work commences.
You’ll perform pre-task safety assessments to identify hazards such as fall risks, electrical hazards, and heavy equipment operations.
You’ll lead risk assessments for high-risk activities—including scaffolding, trenching, crane operations, and confined spaces—and enforce control measures.
You’ll collaborate with engineers and superintendents to implement engineering controls such as guardrails, PPE, and ventilation systems.
You’ll investigate all incidents, near-misses, and violations by documenting root causes, witness statements, and corrective actions.
You’ll maintain incident logs, perform trend analysis, and report findings to project leadership, insurance providers, and regulatory bodies.
You’ll conduct new hire safety orientations and toolbox talks on topics such as fall protection, fire prevention, and equipment safety.
You’ll develop and deliver specialized safety training programs including forklift certification, lockout/tagout, and hazardous materials handling.
You’ll foster a proactive safety culture by engaging workers, recognizing safe behaviors, and addressing unsafe acts promptly.
Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.
Salary range: $110,000 - $120,000 a year.
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental or Occupational Health & Safety, Construction Management, or Engineering (or equivalent experience).
Demonstrated expertise in EPA standards (OSHA plus), OSHA 500 (Authorized Outreach Trainer) or OSHA 510 and Safety or a related field.

Clear emergency directive delivery during incidents.
Adapting training for multilingual crews (Spanish proficiency is a plus).
